It’s spring which means it’s time for some spring cleaning! It can be a bit overwhelming when your beauty space becomes a cluttered mess. If your bathroom sink is covered with beauty products it’s time to get organized.

Out With The Old

If you’re the type of person that gets overwhelmed with the idea of a total deep clean, we recommend starting small by getting rid of any old, expired, dirty, and broken products.

All of these items are just sitting there collecting dust and taking up space. This step is quick, simple, and easy. Once you get all the junk out of your beauty drawer, you’re ready to move on to step 2 of your spring cleaning.

Sanitize

Of course, you should be cleaning your beauty space regularly but since you’re spring cleaning, now’s the time to truly get down and dirty. Take everything out of the drawer and wipe all your products and tools. Also, wipe down and sanitize your drawer and counter space. Take any hair and makeup brushes and wash them out. It is important to sanitize and disinfect your beauty area to get rid of any lingering microbes, yeast, viruses, fungi, bacteria.

In With The New

Finally the fun part: finishing the project. It’s time to add in any new décor or organizational touches to give your beauty space a new and improved look and better functionality. Keep products organized with different product holders. Keep all your hairbrushes and accessories in separate bins. Use makeup bags to store your products in your beauty drawer. Spring cleaning shouldn’t just be about cleaning up, it should also be about revamping and improving your space!
